[We apologize for not posting last night… no WiFi!]

Today was an eye opening experience for all of us. We started the day with a mental warm up to prepare us for the day. Afterwards we headed to el Mercado, the market, to help locals sell fruits, vegetables, and grains. Each glimpser was able to experience a typical working day for the locals. We were able to help them out by assisting their stands and bringing some joy to their day. Towards the end we gave them a picture that each glimpser took with their local, signed with a message on the back as a thank you note.

However today was not only a working day but also a day to reflect on our experiences so far. We wrote letters of appreciation to all the Global Glimpse supporters. This was followed by some free time and then our English Tutoring class.

Overall today was a day of reflection and appreciation. We were able to witness how the locals work. Personally as ELDD, I felt that we had a good day because this experienced allowed us to bond more with the locals and other glimpsers. As the leader today, I realized how hard it can be at times but also how rewarding it can be.

P.S. Happy birthday, Taniea!
