Big day of travel on the 11th went well and we just finished a very full first day in Granada. Starting early this morning, we went from our temporary hostel in Managua to our home for the next 17 days in Granada. We had a couple of great meals and a warm welcome courtesy of Don Carlos, the owner of the local “comedor” or restaurant. A highlight for many was the walking tour of Granada, visiting the iconic cathedral in the center of town, the local museum, and the local fine arts and cultural center. We got a lot of work done and really got to know each other. Group photo forthcoming!
