It is 2:40 am here in Bonao, Dominican Republic and the students are tucking themselves safely into bed. We all arrived to Santiago around 11:30 pm, and were greeted with nothing but “big love” from Josefina and Miguel holding the official Global Glimpse banner outside. After quick introductions, we began the hour long bus ride to what we will now call home for the next 18 days, “El Nuevo Futuro.” The name of the hostel is suiting, considering the journey that lies ahead for each and everyone of us.
Tomorrow we will be taking a tour around the city to get better acquainted with the culture of Bonao.
Hasta Mañana,
Team Bonao

It’s nice to see that Emma and Isabella got to reconnect. I know Emma was happy about this. I got a couple of photos of them at the airport together.
