Hello GG families and friends! We have been having some technical difficulties with our blogs getting posted every evening, so we are having students post without photos attached. Within a few days of blogs being posted, we are coming through and adding photos when we get a chance. We encourage you to please go back and re-look at posts that have already gone up so you can have some visuals to go along with the vivid stories our students are sharing.
We are almost at the one-week mark on the trip and the Glimpsers have all been AMAZING. Everywhere we go speakers and partners share how special this group is, and it is very true. We feel truly lucky to have such wonderful young leaders with us and appreciate their patience and yours as we get our blogs updated.
Best,
Athalia & Noelia
Thank you for this post! We really appreciate it! I also would like to thank you for all your hard work in putting together an incredible program for our kids to enjoy. It sounds fascinating, intellectually-stimulating, enlightening, and fun. We are grateful for the energy, effort, and integrity with which you created a series of activities designed to lead our children on an ever-deepening journey into understanding poverty in a developing country and allow them to potentially find a way to help the people there.
Much gratitude,
Matti’s mom, Deborah
Thanks for the updates! Briana sorry we missed your call but Daddy received your message while driving from New York back to DC. Looking forward to pictures to document this experience. Keep your chin up:-) just saw All Eyes On Me. Hugs and Kisses
Marshall’s dad, Robert, here to second Deborah’s comment. Huge shout out to the GG team for what sounds like an amazing experience for the kids. Our world surely needs more of this sort of education, eye opening, and bridge building.
