This is John & Deidy (Program Coordinators). You are almost here! In a blink of an eye, you will be in The DR! And we are excited to welcome you to Jarabacoa, In the Dominican Republic and the place where you can find majestic mountains, for what will be 2 incredible weeks of learning and discovery.
I am John, Haitian by birth and Dominican by residence. I have been living in the DR for 16 years now, and this is my fourth season leading the program for Global Glimpse. I enjoy listening to music, traveling, exercising, and spending time with my friends and family. I am glad we are all on board this journey, and as an experienced PC, I can guarantee that it is going to be a life-changing experience. Also, I can’t wait to meet our local community partners and execute our Community Action Projects, which is what excites me the most about this summer.
My name is Deidy De La Rosa, I am a psychology student, an adventure lover, and a Lasallian at heart. I enjoy music and sitting on the floor and meditating. I’m from Higüey. What excites me most about summer is the people I’m going to meet, the adventures we’re going to have, and the experiences to come💃🏻✨️
