Hey everyone!
We had a jam packed day of activities on Day 2! We started our day with a 5:30 wake up call and took a bus to Riobamba. The drive was a beautiful ride through the mountains and Riobamba is a quaint and charming town. We checked into our adorable hotel and met our gracious hosts. They were so welcoming and made us feel at home instantly!
We did an informative walking tour of Riobamba and met up with the Bay area delegation for a fourth of july party. The hostess of the restaurant planned a wonderful party; complete with decorations, dancing, games and delicious food. The students were able to meet and hang out with another group that has been here for ten days; which was really nice for them.

Hi Julissa,
Happy Fourth of July! We missed you epically! Jose rocked out with me and Nana to old time rock and roll with his air guitar during family karaoke time lol. Nana and your mom also recreated the scene from Grease at the end of the movie on the back steps, too cute! Take lots of pictures! I can’t wait to hear about all your adventures!

Lisa
