Hello, Jinotega 6/10 Glimpsers! It is time to brush up on your survival Spanish phrases if you had chosen to learn French or Chinese instead. Either of these languages will not be of much help in Nicaragua but having them under your belt means that you have the skills to learn another language and will rock the review of basic or survival Spanish phrases.
Got a dictionary already to bring? Look at the back of that dictionary and start memorizing basic phrases. Better yet, you can come up with your 3X3 index cards and write the phrases you will most likely use while in Jinotega. Dropping these ready to use Spanish phrases will endear you to everyone in Nicaragua especially the staff at the hostel and the comedor. Are you ready to wow them? Let’s do this.
