Hello families,

The students are currently beach camping, so I am writing the update for them 🙂

They planted gardens in Acuerla 2, finishing up their work with that community this morning. Then they said a tear-filled goodbye over lunch to Don Carlos, and thanked him for making them feel at home during their stay in Bahia. Finally, a trip to Bahia would not be complete without a visit to Miguelito, the 136+ yr-old Galapagos tortoise!

The students then packed up their stuff and headed to Cielo del Pacifico, where they set up tents and made a bonfire on the beach. They’ll spend tonight and tomorrow at Cielo del Pacifico, reflecting on their time in Bahia and cementing friendships with each other and the Eco-Club students 🙂
