Hello Glimpsers & Families,
My name is Teah Watson, and I am a high school teacher at the Urban Assembly School for Applied Math and Science in the South Bronx. I am originally from Durham, North Carolina, and teach US History and Economics and Government. I am so excited to meet all of you! This is going to be my first GG trip, and I am sure it will be incredible!
I became a GGL because I love traveling and from my own personal experience of being a Peace Corps volunteer from 2018 to 2020 in Uganda. It was such a transformative experience for me that I am excited to see other students enjoy the adventure of experiencing different cultures and traditions.
Outside of teaching, I love running, if anyone wants to run with me while we’re in DR let me know. I also enjoy reading and playing the piano. I am very much a big sports fan as well so if anyone wants to talk about anything sports, I’m your guy.
Looking forward to meeting each and every one of you, and fully immersing ourselves into the Global Glimpse experience.
