Dear blog,
We woke up at 7:30 AM and prepared for our adventure and fun day. Breakfast consisted of pancakes with scrambled eggs. After we boarded our magic school bus and set our destination for Saltos de Jima, a tropical mountain escape with a natural waterfall and spring. Before we began our ascent, we divided our group into two teams to compete in the “Global Glimpse Olympics.” Potato sack races, balancing egg courses, steal the bacon, and tug of war were the games we played.
The day got even better as we followed up the Olympics with a 30 minute hike followed by swimming in the natural spring and enjoying the waterfall view. Unfortunately we had to cancel our English Tutoring today, but instead enjoyed some much needed rest and an impromptu karaoke contest before dinner and our nightly meeting. That’s all for today. Until next time Glimpser fans.
