Jorge & Irene

We are Jorge and Irene: the two PCs (program coordinators) who will guide you through this amazing experience in the southern region of Dominican Republic. We both are very passionate about social justice and the beauty of service learning. We believe in the potential of the local communities to improve themselves, but we also love to have fun in the process, meet new people, and dance! Irene loves to play saxophone and has been in the circus arts world for over 18 years. Jorge loves watching movies – that’s how he learned English!

We are really looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing this awesome trip we have prepared for you so you can learn and enjoy the magic of the Dominican culture. We are pretty sure you will have fun and learn a lot. And you will come back to your homes having been changed in the best way possible.

So be prepared for these 16 days of mind blowing activities, meeting new people, laughing, crying, helping, growing, and enjoying!
