Bowling and Africa before Nicaragua

In 5 days we take off for Esteli, but that won’t be the first time the students from Williamsburg Prep,  Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies, and High School for Economics and Finance have met up. In May, the group got together for the first time to show off their bowling skills, some having more skills than others. 😉 Then, in late June, we met up again to go on an African art tour at the Brooklyn Museum followed by a West African food tasting at Buka in Brooklyn. Our students had a great opportunity to get a small glimpse of exploring another culture before they take the big leap next week with their trip to Nicaragua. Sarah (the other GG leader for this trip) and myself are really excited to help facilitate such an amazing experience for our students!
