Hola familias y amistades,

Today was our second CAP day! We were ahead of schedule since yesterday and continued to further progress in our murals. From yesterday’s mistakes we learned to delegate more tasks to keep the group productive and focused. As the day went on, we were amazed as to how many people kept working despite the hot sun and the countless mixing of paint.

In addition to our CAP, these past four days we have taken on a teaching role. We taught English at Verbo Divino to many students between the ages of 8-18. Unfortunately, today was the last day of tutoring and we had to say our goodbyes. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to our students who we have helped learn and develop a connection with. Many groups took pictures with their students and promised that they would keep in touch despite being in different countries.

Tomorrow is the last day we will be in Llullundongo and the last full day in Guaranda. We are looking forward to creating long lasting memories with the friendships that we have made.

Much love to all our friends and families!

See you in a couple of days!

Love,

Cynthia Gomez, Pricila Flores, and Cynthia Weber
