Hello GG Friends and Family it’s your Leaders of the day, Aina and Lucy. Today was our LAST day of our Community Action Project! We started off our day with a wake up call at 7:00am and a delicious breakfast of mashed potatoes, fried cheese, papaya, pineapple and papaya juice. After breakfast we bussed to Rio Grande and completed our CAP Project. It was very challenging to finish up everything but we did it! Although we don’t leave till’ Wednesday, it was our last time seeing the community members of Rio Grande which was very sad because we all got so close to the kids and families. We also had lunch at Rio Grande which consisted of rice, fried chicken, salad and coke to drink. Once we got back home we had time to nap, shower and freshen up to walk in the heavy rain to our last class of English Tutoring, again it was very sad after hugging our students goodbye. After teaching we had the BEST dinner so far in my opinion which was Pasta Alfredo, Spaghetti, Garlic bread and Pineapple juice. Following our amazing dinner, we had our daily nightly meeting and passed the torch to our last leaders of C2B Constanza, Albert and AJ. As leaders of the day we learned that each of our amazing, different personalities have come together to create an amazing project to the Rio Grande community. Parents and families, we will see you all in a few days we’re having a great time and we miss you! Keep up with our last blog tomorrow and have a great night 🙂
