Today Sunday June 23, was the second day that our delegation in Mataglapa worked on our Community Action Project at a local primary school. We continued work in the garden, and working as a large team we accomplished a lot for one work day. All the students were extremely eager to work on our project and all of us communicated very well to get as much work done as possible. We’ve all had a long day, and most of us are really tired because we were working for long hours to make sure that we got the most out of one work day and so that we didn’t waste anytime. We continued to work on the path of tires by putting cement on top of them to reinforce them. Many Glimpsers continued to clean trash and weed, so that we could construct two gutters on the side of the hill where we were working today.

We still have a lot to do, and tomorrow is our last day, but with a group that is so motivated and dedicated to this project, I am very confident that we will be able to finish by We’re all working very hard and driven to complete this project to make an impact in the lives of the local community.
