Due to weather in Newark, the flight was re-routed to Cleveland and is scheduled to land at CLE at 4:09 PM.
There is a scheduled departure from Cleveland at 5:01 PM that would have the group landing back at Newark (EWR) at 6:20 PM at Terminal C.
If you’re already at the airport, we’re sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but please understand the weather is out of our control, and if the flight was re-routed it was for the safety of those aboard.
We will be in touch as more information becomes available. In the meantime, we encourage you all to keep an eye on the flight status by checking online (you can search UA 1022 in Google or you can search at United’s Website which seems more accurate, but you need to click “flight status” and then enter their fight number “1022“).
