Hello everyone!
My name is Hagikah (Hi-Key-Kah) and my pronouns are she, her, hers and I am one of your GG Leaders.
I am originally from Oakland, California but have lived in many other states and cities around the country growing up. Currently, I teach in Hayward at Impact Academy of Arts and Technology. Shout out to Impact students on this trip!
When I am not at Impact, I love listening to and making music. I play Latin percussion with an intercultural drumming collective in the East Bay. It’s basically a Brazilian Drumline. I mostly play the Agogô bell and occasionally the bass drum. Next, I plan on learning to play snare. I can’t wait to hear the music of Ecuador!
I am really looking forward to meeting each of you in a few weeks. We are going to have a great summer.
