Today we went to Los Calabazos for our third and final day of our community action project (CAP).  When we woke up this morning we found out a large percentage of our group had become sick, and could not participate on our last day.  Luckily we had finished almost all of our project, so we still had enough people to deliver the final product. After wrapping up our CAP, we returned to our hostel in our to get ready for the graduation ceremony for our English tutoring students.  Graduation was touching and sweet, and the Glimpsers performed a song for everyone to show our appreciation. To celebrate, we went to Fresco’s, a nice restaurant in Jarabacoa. With dinner finished, we went home for a nightly meeting and bed.

This day was rather stressful for Noah and me because there were a lot of sick kids and our schedule changed as a result, but we still did it.  Our favorite part of today was eating lunch with the locals of Los Calabazos. It was a great moment to share with them, especially after working for so long.  Noah and I felt so eager to be leader of the day on this day because we got to lead the group as we finished our CAP, and had our graduation ceremony.
