Community Project Day 2

Heyyy everybody it’s Mia from El Cerrito High School and today was day 16 of our trip! Today we discussed further about our Community Action Project to see what materials we still needed and how much money we have left over. With the left over money we decided to buy more school supplies as well as toys for the children of La Pita. We’ve split into two groups, half of us building the stairs and the other half painting the Community Center. In remembrance of our 2013 June 8-28 Esteli trip we decided to imprint our delegation into the stairs. Our colors we decided on painting the Community Center are peach and aqua. Tomorrow we go to La Pita and start our Community Action Project. Stay tuned for pictures of the complete project!
