Hello! We are your Global Glimpse Leaders Brendan & Alfredo. We are excited to be a part of this Global Glimpse adventure with you guys! We are both San Francisco Natives. We both have worked beside each other for 4 years at The Academy – San Francisco High School. Brendan is currently the Athletic Director and Attendance Ambassador for The Academy – San Francisco and Alfredo is currently the Afterschool Program Coordinator for The Academy. We are both extremely lucky to be from, live and work in San Francisco as we are surrounded by incredible diversity and opportunity. Having such a wide-range of backgrounds and personal histories in our students has helped us gain much insight into the stories of our Bay Area students, and we are looking forward to learning and growing from the experiences on this trip. We truly believe that traveling is one of the most important factors you can have as individuals and society to further understand ourselves, the world, and our potential effect on the future. The life experiences and lessons learned during traveling play a huge impact on your development. Traveling gives us an opportunity to learn, adventure, and discover. We are super excited to be part of this journey with you guys and hope to expand all of our horizons. Can’t wait to meet everyone and have a blast in Nicaragua!
