Today, we woke up at 8:30 AM and for breakfast, we had sandwiches and strawberry smoothies. After, our delicious breakfast from Dilenia, we left the hotel at 10:00 AM to head to Divino Nino. Divino Nino was a famous religious altier here in Constanza. Divino Nino was created by a man who lost his mother who was diagonised with cancer. This same man was also diagonised with cancer and in one of his dreams, his mother told him to stop taking treatments and dedicate your life to Divino Nino. Divino Nino was built to welcome the people of Constanza and to hear the prayers of their people.

As we returned from Divino Nino at 12:30 PM, we had lunch at Dilenia’s hotel, in which we had: white rice, chicken fajitas, and potato salad. Transitioning to the program semanar which was based on writing thoughtful letters to supporters who have continued to show unwavering dedication to Global Glimpse. For those who have completed their letters, at 2:30 PM, individuals were allowed to have free time which they were able to go out of the hotel. Since it is Day 11, we were allowed to leave on our own in teams of 4 or more because  we have gained trust from our GGL’s and PC’s. Once we all gathered at 4:00 PM, we began our English Tutoring Prep. We headed from Dilenia’s hotel to Ahora Viva, for our English tutoring session.

After a successful day of tutoring with the children and adults of Constanza, we headed back to Dilenia’s hotel for dinner at 7:00 PM. Dinner included: mashed potato, vegetables, and cheese with onions. To wrap it all up, we had our nightly and talked about what we have learned since our last free day. One of our Glimpsers, Shane “McLovin” Ladendale, emphasized on the fact that it seems easier to find happiness in any situation here in Constanza.
