Day 11 - Free Day #2 – Global Glimpse

My day today was exciting. Everyone went out to the city. Today everyone experienced how the common people in the city live. A common thing people noticed in the city today is that a lot of the stores in the city do not open until 2 p.m. When I went out on the street I saw people we helped in the clinic yesterday and it made me happy to see them doing better. After everyone got back from exploring, we walked to tutoring and had a good time. Today being leader of the day was easy, but hard. It was easy because I didn’t really have to direct people anywhere and they could have done whatever they wanted for most of the day. But it was also hard because I had to make sure everyone was here when they could have been everywhere. I learned that being a leader is very hard and takes a lot of work, but it is also rewarding at the same time.
