Hi everyone!
My name is Lisa and I am an upcoming senior at Andrew Hill High School in San Jose and I am super excited to meet everyone! Half of the people who are going to Global Glimpse at my school are going on this trip so…super excited to meet everyone else. I guess my hobby is traveling; I travel so much across California I know it like the back of my hand and I just got back from a road trip with my dog across the coast, so we’ll see what this trip has in store! I have 4 dogs, a cat, a parrot, and two chickens so if you like animals I’ll gladly avoid the topic (just kidding). I’m not an expert in Spanish, although I did take 3 years of it, but I do know the basics like: ¿Cuánto cuesta? (how much), perro (dog), pero (but), and gato (cat). I’m thinking about the food we’ll get to eat there and how hot it’ll be…and also the people and culture. I am very grateful for this opportunity and hope to see everyone soon…well obviously because the trip is in 2 days!
