After a long day of travel, we have arrived at our hostel in Quito. We have enjoyed getting to know each other by playing icebreaker games in the Houston airport and we look forward to spending the next two weeks together exploring and learning about this beautiful country. We’ve already had a chance to experience the hilly terrain and know that there is much more ahead as we make our way to Riobamba. Speaking of which, our wake up call is in a mere 5 hours so it’s time to get some rest!

I’m pretty sure that this experience will plant the seed for many of the students to shape their future plans— being in the personal, spiritual and/or professional aspects of their lives.

I am so happy for you and all the experiences you are having. I’m sure you are putting all your love and dedication into all the activities you are participating in. I’m sure that part of your heart and soul will remain in Ecuador and some people’s hearts.
