Today students were having too much fun to write a blog post! We started out with reflections including setting personal goals for when we return to the US and sharing lots of “Big Love” with each other through team building activities.
In the afternoon, students had free time with the ambassadors and many bought souvenirs to take back home. While they were out they got caught in a tropical thunderstorm and returned to the hostel soaking wet! The thunder was impressive – some loved it, and some hated it but everyone returned safely.
After a delicious formal dinner and cake, students danced their hearts out to a mix of Dominican and American tunes. When the ambassadors finally left for the night, everyone cried and hugged for a long time.
TOMORROW, we will be waking up at 5:45 am to begin our journey home. We are due in to SFO by 12:08 am, just after midnight. Here is the flight info so you can track the flight and check for any delays.

Thank you Cat for the final reflection. Happy to hear everybody had a fun time today. Although is sad to say goodbye you should all be proud of what you’ve achieved and you’d cherish the new friendships you’ve made along the way. This has been an amazing experience for all of you guys.
