Today we woke up at the crack of dawn and started our first free day, and used our time constructively. Here is what our day consisted of…..We went out for breakfast at a local restaurant called “Su Pollo Listo”and enjoyed a piece of home away from home. We had delicious pancakes topped with homemade syrup. We then went out to take care of our laundry. From there, the grew went separate ways to enjoy the day. Several went to the local cyber cafe to make calls, and use the internet. Others went to dine out for a quick meal for lunch,or shopped at local businesses. At night we stayed in the hostel and watched movies, read books, listened to music or talked. It was a lovely sight to have been seen.

It sounds like you are all enjoying your time in Matagalpa. Simple joys are sometimes the best. All my best wishes to your group and especially, to my cherished Kiva.
Sounds like you were ready for some downtime after all the cha-chaing!
Enjoy!
Love ,
