Today, we actually got to sleep in! We started the day with breakfast and free time. Then at 1:00 pm, we headed downtown at Parque Sucre.

As soon as we arrived, we went crazy with shopping. Many of us bought gifts for family and friends – and even ourselves. Many of us purchased fluffy llamas to keep us company during our trip. Then, we continued our journey into a plaza full of vendors that sell a variety of things, such as ponchos, shoes, souvenirs, etc. Many of us bought most of our souvenirs at this plaza. We shopped at this plaza for about 2 hours.

After all these hours of shopping, we took a break. The group got to decide whether they wanted boba or wanted to head into the cafe next door. While the group that headed into the cafe was finishing their food, the group that went to boba started heading out to nearby shops. We eventually regrouped at the nearby stores and headed out. After that, we snuck into a few more shops before we got back on the bus.

Having fun back at the hotel!

When we arrived at the hotel we had free time and a couple of us went to buy snacks at the stores across the street. Overall, the group had a good time and we’re all excited to show our families what we got!
