Today was our first FREE DAY!!! We started the day off at 9 am eating breakfast at DeJavu then we all separated into groups of four or more to enjoy the beautiful city of Leon. Groups sent their walking through the plaza, bargaining and souvenir shopping, drinking smoothies, easting fried chicken and burger king, getting in touched with loved ones back home at the cyber cafe, and just enjoying each others company in the sun Today was also Uriel’s birthday and we happily celebrated his birthday with some birthday cake and the birthday spirit. Our quote of the day was “Always do your best. What you plan now, you will harvest later” by Og Mandino. By making good decisions in choosing what to did today, this quotes came to life. Today we all invested our time wisely. We realized many things today…most importantly that we have gone MANY DAYS without social media! Now, once we are home we will try not fall back into our old habits of always being on our phones/computers, and enjoy the world around us not the world on our phones! We’ve learned that it’s really good to go out and experience new things. O
joy, laughter, and fun.
