¡Saludos a todos! This Engari and Arely coming at you with another amazing blog! Today was another very successful free day. We started the day at 8:00 in the morning and filled up our tummies with pineapples, melon, cereal, and yogurt. We were able to let the food digest while having some well deserved free time. In groups of four or more, we headed out to explore Constanza without our Global Glimpse Leaders since we are a group of very responsible young adults. Several of us bought bracelets and went to the local supermarket to buy some snacks, while others purchased jerseys from El Abejero. With the company of our Youth Ambassadors, we were able to get around even better. We came back for lunch at the hotel and ate arroz con pollo, fried plantains, and salad. After that was taken care of, we returned to our venture for tasty treats that we were able to enjoy in a local park, as well as do some souvenir shopping.

We returned to our home (the hotel) to freshen up for our English classes. Although there was an unusual amount of kids in our classrooms, us Glimpsers pushed through and had a successful class. Then we took some time to lesson-plan for an even more successful class next time.

In honor of the Fourth of July, we had hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. Afterwards, we had our nightly meeting to end the day and passed off the torch to our new Líderes del Día.

Half asleep, we wish you all a good night! Stay tuned for the next blog!

Adios,

Arely and Engari
