Hello to our viewers and supporters back home. Today was our first free day. What that means for us as a group was that we chose a destination where we would all go for a certain amount of time. We started off our free day with some delicious eggs and bread at La Nativa. After starting the day off right, we went to the internet cafes. It was something that was really needed for us as individuals because we got to call back home. It was a really special moment because everyone was emotional after talking with their family and friends. After everyone was done with their calls, we went back to La Nativa for some delicious lunch. We had some warm soup as an appetizer. And after, we had some delicious chicken and rice. After filling our bellies up we decided to go to the mall. We were all excited to go because we wanted to buy souvenirs for our family and friends back home. It was really interesting seeing the different names and stores in the mall. After everyone was done shopping, we decided to go back to the hotel to get ready for the park and La Plaza Roja. Once everyone was ready to go, we went on our way to the park. On the way, we stopped by a farmers market to get even more souvenirs. It was really intriguing listening to the the sellers explaining the meaning and culture behind all the souvenirs.  After that, we went to the park where we took many pictures in front of a beautiful water fountain. We then went on our way to La Plaza Roja. When we arrived, some of us started playing soccer and others went to look around. It was truly heartwarming seeing the local children participate and have fun with us. It really looked like we made their day. After a day full of excitement and fun we had our last meal of the day. Once again we went back to La Nativa and finished with some amazing lasagna. Everyone in the group clearly seemed to like dinner. We said our thank you’s and goodbyes to the main Chef, Cesar and his staff. We headed back to our hotel for our daily night meeting. We all discussed how much of an amazing day we had and how much we all loved the locals, especially the kids.

Sincerely,

your Lider del Dia, E.G.A.
