Today was our free day. This means that we can go out with our GGL’s and go places and explore Chitré’s beautiful culture that it has to offer. At the hostel, everybody made a vote to what we wanted to do. By the end, we decided to have one group go to the park that had basketball, soccer, and baseball. When I went, we got the chance to play with some other Panamanians who were already there. It was a nice experience playing with them. For baseball, we all had used a pole because they didn’t have a baseball bat. We also used this small plastic ball, but it was still a very fun time. The other group went and explored the city and went shopping, the bakery and the internet café. If they wanted to make calls home, they were able to do that. Overall, today was a very successful day and I look forward to my next free day.
