Today was our second and last free day and we all had an amazing experience interacting with the environment. We started off with breakfast, then we were able to branch out in groups of 4 to explore the amazing city of Chitre. Some groups went shopping, and majority went site seeing. This free day allowed us to see and experience the people the we’ve met and get the full feeling of life in Panama. We met up for lunch at café Caney which was optional, many other people tried foods that are local favorites. After that we had our second portion of free time where we called our parents and other family members letting them know of our wonderful experience. Later tonight we met up with the New York delegation where we listened to music, danced, sang, and talked letting them know of our experience in Panama. We saw a mariachi band and they played a song with us wining our hearts closer to Panama. Closing our night, we ended with a movie spending quality time together.
