Being Leader of the Day is full of challenges. Starting with waking everyone up, making sure everyone is on time, keeping people on task, and keeping everyone safe. These are all things that I don’t have to do often especially for a big group of people.
I am mostly proud of the group being able to stick together during explore time and also bonding with all of the children in our accommodation and town. We also helped each other during the English tutoring session. There were many tears during the morning while calling home and everyone managed to be very supportive of each other.
Today I learned that I am a very great leader, but I could use a little help at some times. I got to understand that it is okay to delegate when things need to get done. Overall I’ve realized that I do a great job at attending to everyone’s needs and making sure that everyone is up, pumped, and ready for the day.
