Welcome! My name is Heather and I’m the other GG leader alongside Patrick. I am an assistant principal at the High School of Economics & Finance. I supervise math, science, health, and physical education teachers. Also, I teach AP Environmental Science, run the school’s mentoring program, and am the school’s athletic director. This is my second year as a GG leader and I’m super excited for another summer of adventure. Being a science teacher, I love being outdoors and exploring nature on long hikes. I’m happiest at the beach: swimming, surfing, diving, snorkeling, as long as I’m in the water! Traveling is a passion of mine, I spent two summers studying in Africa and have traveled throughout Europe and the South Pacific. When I’m taking a break from traveling, exploring, or swimming, I like to spend time with my little dog, Boo. He’s awesome and loves people. I can’t wait to spend time in Ecuador with the entire group! I hope to pick up some new recipes on our trip 🙂 See you all in the end of July!
