Hello Glimpsers and Parents/Guardians!
My name is Fatima Deen and I am one of your Global Glimpse Leaders (GGLs) for our trip to Las Tablas, Panama scheduled to leave August 1st @ ~3 pm. I am so excited to physically see you all and get to know you as we embark on our journey to Las Tablas. Before our trip, I’ll be in Greece for most of July and Chattanooga, TN for a family reunion next week. While I travel a lot with my family and solo, this will be my first time traveling with Global Glimpse & my first time chaperoning students abroad! I am excited & nervous, but overall I know we will have a great time together.
I am a Science Teacher from Professional Performing Arts School in midtown Manhattan and to be completely honest I am looking forward to our project which focuses on Biocultural Diversity. Making connections between humans and how we navigate our environment is not something many of us have experienced before and I can’t wait to do so with you all!
We are T-minus 15 days from our trip. Your other GGL, Nairee Tavaras, & will be reaching out to you & your families soon just to check in & go over some last-minute details.
