Hi everyone, my name is Sydney Williams and I am going to be a senior at Encinal High School in Alameda, CA. I have been in my school’s leadership class for 3 years and I am going to be our ASB President this coming school year. Volleyball is a passion of mine and I have been playing ever since the 4th grade, both competitively and on school teams. Some fun facts about me are that I am a vegetarian and I have been for about 4 years and I wear contacts so you might catch we with glasses on the trip. I also somewhat speak Spanish; I took Spanish 4 my sophomore year so I am a little out of practice, but I am definitely looking forward to hopefully having Spanish come back to me. I am so excited to travel to the Dominican Republic through Global Glimpse to learn about a whole new culture and learn more about the lives of people in different countries. I will see you all in less than a week and I can’t wait to meet you all!
