Hello everybody there! We are your Program Coordinators, Mauricio and Larry!
The time to meet in Panamá is so close! We can’t express how excited we are about this experience we are going to share. Panamá is an incredible country, full of amazing people and things to learn.
But first, let us tell you a bit about us:
I’m Mauricio Amiel, from Argentina to the whole world. I’m a Spanish and Literature teacher, and also a Latin American Philosophy teacher. I love so much reading and writing, learning and sharing the things i’ve known. I enjoy taking photos, listening to music, cooking (and eating!), and of course, traveling! I think this has been my biggest passion ever. Traveling I could develop a huge sensitivity to cultural diversity and a sense of global citizenship full of curiosity and empathy. This is my first time with Global Glimpse so you can imagine how excited I am for the trip to begin.
My name is Larry Gomez, and I will be your second PC here in Chitre. I am from the country of Nicaragua. I am a returning Program Coordinator here in Panama after seeing first-hand what an amazing learning experience this trip is for everyone involved. I worked with non-profit organizations in Nicaragua receiving student delegations for over 5 years. I enjoy hiking, listening to music, reading, and meeting new people.
We are looking forward to having a marvelous experience In Panama, with a lot of fun and many learnings that you will treasure forever.
