We are so excited to meet you all so very soon. We’d like to take a few minutes to introduce ourselves.

My name is Nancy (friends call me “Nans”) and I teach freshman English at Evanston Township. I’ve been teaching here for 3 years now. I am originally from Syria but my family and I moved to Chicago when I was 7 and I’ve been living in the Chicagoland area ever since. I graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago for undergrad in Teaching of English and Gender and Women Studies. I enjoy reading, playing games (all kinds), and cooking. I can talk for days about traveling and eating. I’m very excited about Ecuador; I’ve only admired South America’s beauty in pictures. See you all very soon! 🙂

My name is Laura (LB for short) and I teach honors algebra II at Noble Street College Prep. I’ve taught here for 5 years and taught middle school in Memphis, Tennessee before this. I’m midwest at heart, but lived in Boston for 4 years where I attended Boston College and studied Economics. During my college years, I lived in Madrid for six months and also studied for a week in El Salvador. I’ve been with Global Glimpse for three years and traveled to Riobamba two years ago and am eager to get back! I have a love of all things food and outdoors. I can’t wait to meet y’all.

My name is Stephanie and I teach AP Biology at Noble Street College Prep. This is my 6th year teaching biology and my 4th year teaching at Noble. I studied Biology at Augustana College and Education at Johns Hopkins University. During college, I traveled to Nicaragua for a medical mission trip and am so excited to practice my (very rusty) Spanish in Ecuador this summer. I am a science nerd at heart, addicted to coffee, and obsessed with food. I am really looking forward to trying cuy and, of course, meeting all of you!
