Hello Leon! We made it to our 2nd home!

Here we are, our students finally made it to Leon city, they brought an incrediby positive ENERGY that kept us motivated the entire day, since the first moment we heard the ¨roar¨ of our little ¨Leones¨ at the airport, in that moment we knew the day was going to rewarding .

Our first stop was at Momotombo look at point view, where Jessica shared with us a few facts about Leon history, unfortunately was very cloudy today and were not able to see the iconic volcano, but that was a sparkle of curiosity about Nicaraguan history.

And after a long 2 hours ride from the airport we made it to our hostel, and right after we went to taste our first Nicaraguan lunch at our comedor ¨Quiero mas¨ . We follow the day with our first 2 seminars and we worked on our group agreements and some team work. The human knot ice breaker made us laugh and realize how important communication and team work is.

Finally we are more than happy to be in our beautiful hostal Casa Santiago, but most at all exited to get to know more of Leon, be committed in this journey for the coming next 2.5 weeks.

So glad that everyone got their safe. Looking forward to all the stories the kids bring back.
