Hey guys, my name is Jackie Peñafort.
I attend Summit Prep in Redwood City along with many other students coming on our trip. As a future career I am currently interested in the medical field – possibly becoming a neonatologist. For those who don’t know what that is, it is a doctor who cares for infants/premies who handle the most complex and high-risk situations. As for my traveling experiences, I’ve been traveling in and out of the country since I was a baby. A few of the places I have been to are the Philippines (where my family is originally from), Thailand, Paris, England, Australia, Hawaii and many other places around the world. Although I travel a lot, I have not been to Nicaragua, which is one of the reasons I am extremely excited about this trip. I can’t wait to meet everyone at the airport!
