Hi everyone!
My name’s Alena and I am a Glimpser that will be attending the trip to Ecuador. I am an upcoming senior at Andrew Hill High School in San Jose, CA. I have one older sister and the cutest dog named Chanel. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing volleyball and listening to music. I love anything from hip-hop to alternative R&B to pop; connecting with people through music is soooo cool, so feel free to introduce me to your favorite artists! I also enjoy traveling, but this is my first time leaving the U.S. so I couldn’t be more excited! My biggest fear would have to be the language barrier, considering I can barely understand Spanish. Nonetheless, I love getting out of my comfort zone to meet new people and I am looking forward to immersing myself into the Ecuadorian culture. I can’t wait to get to know everyone.
