Hey guys!!

I’m kinda late with this but…I’m Nava and I go to Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon. I’m 16 and I have one younger sister, and a dog named Oreo. Traveling has been a big part of my life ever since I was little; I have a lot of relatives throughout Europe, so my family and I go out there to visit every so often, but the only Spanish speaking countries I’ve been to are Spain and Mexico, both of which were really different from each other, so I’m super excited to be able to see how Ecuador compares. I’ve taken 5 years of Spanish so far, so I’d like to say that I’m pretty satisfied with my speaking ability but we’ll see how that works out when the speaking isn’t slowed down to half speed :’). I love learning about different cultures and I’m most anticipating meeting the locals because I think that that is where the experience will turn personal and make the biggest impact. Also, my hobbies include playing water polo and listening to music. I’m so excited to get to know everyone on the trip, and although the nerves are kicking in a little bit right now, I know it’s gonna be an awesome time!!  See you guys bright and early tomorrow morninggg!
