Hi!

Hi! My name is Makenna Rose but most people call me Kenni. I am 17 and live in a small town called Discovery Bay. I commute around 2 hours everyday to my school, Oakland School for the Arts, where I am in the dance department. Dance has always been my entire life and would take up at least 30 hours of my week. Though, this past year I found out that I broke my back. Like literally, it’s broken! This injury has caused me to step back from dance to rest and recover! My back will never fully heal but I am getting back to basic movement. I am really looking forward to making new friends and learning from my experiences on this trip. This year has taught me a lot about myself and who I surround myself with, I am excited to further this knowledge on our GG trip!
