Hi everyone!

My name is Katrina and I’m 17. I am an upcoming senior at Andrew Hill High School in San Jose. I’m super excited yet nervous for our upcoming trip. I’m really looking forward to making a bunch of new friends, trying new food, and exploring the city. I also look forward to living with people of different backgrounds, cultures, and personalities. I’m excited for the late-night conversations, talking about our day, and the challenges we’ll face together. I think the most challenging part for me will be opening up to people on the first day as well as being homesick 🙁 However, I am not a shy person and really enjoy social settings so I believe that my first day shyness will only last for a brief period. I really enjoy traveling, so far I have gone to Vietnam and Hawaii. 🙂

I took two years of Spanish, although my vocabulary is very limited and still needs improvement 🙁 I also enjoy being outdoors and surrounding myself with nature such as hiking and going to the beach. I have two older siblings named Kim and Trung. Some hobbies I enjoy is playing badminton, makeup, and watching Netflix (my favorite shows are Friends, Jane the Virgin, One Tree Hill, etc) 🙂

I really hope I get to know each and every one of you guys!! I’m so excited and I cannot wait!!
