Hey delegation! I’m Matt and I’m very excited for our trip together this summer. I can’t wait to explore Bonao and the Dominican Republic and get to know all of you! Fun fact: Mollie and I led a trip together in Nicaragua last summer. Along with Caitlin, we’ll be your 3 Global Glimpse Leaders this summer.
When I’m not Global Glimpsing, I’m a Computer Science teacher at Berkeley High School. I also like to play ultimate frisbee, rock climb and root for the Dubs and A’s. In the DR I’m looking forward to doing some running in the morning, eating lots of rice and beans, and hopefully watching some World Cup in the evenings, even though the US didn’t qualify.
I’m not going to be able to make it to the pre-trip meet up on the 9th, but I’m very excited to go on this adventure with you all in just a few weeks!
