I know you all must be anxious for the arrival of the GG group scheduled to arrive tomorrow! So, we would like to provide the latest flight information:
August 18th, 2015
Departure from Nicaragua:
American Airlines Flight 994
Managua to Miami 7:00 – 11:36 am
Arrival in New York:
American Airlines Flight 1048
Miami to JFK 3:28 – 6:30 pm
However, please keep in mind it’s a large group and also depending on the travel time we won’t be able to meet everyone at arrivals until more like after 7pm. See you all soon!!

You can track the flight from Miami to JFK on the American Airlines website here…

Click on “Flight Status” in the middle of the page and then type in the flight number 1048 to track to see if it is on time, early, or late. Ms. Garces is correct that it takes between 30 minutes-hour to get the whole group through security but please be at the airport by 7 PM so that the leaders don’t have to wait for a long time for all students to be picked up as they will be tired from a long day or traveling and a long trip in general.
