Hello Granada Trip #1 –

My name is Steve Foug and I have taught history at Palo Alto High School for 16 years.  I am from the Bay Area, but went to college in the Midwest. This is my first year with Global Glimpse.

I consider myself lucky to be a part of the Global Glimpse program. A former student, who is on the Global Glimpse Advisory Board, put me in touch with Marcela last summer. I had tons of questions. Everything that I have learned about the mission of the program really impressed me. I especially liked the descriptions of the most hands-on parts of the program (tutoring, community action project, $1 a day).

I look forward to taking my first trip to Central America and to meeting the rest of the group!
