Everyone made it to Tocumen International Airport in Panama City in one piece! The bus trip into Panama City was smooth, as we passed through the shiny skyscrapers of downtown without much traffic and arrived at our funky hostel, Casa Mona Lisa. Dinner was a tasty and hefty portion of arroz con pollo, or rice with chicken, and was enjoyed in the open-air backyard/dining room. After learning of our plan to see Casco Viejo (the historic district) the next morning students cooled off with showers and dropped into bed! Una feliz noche to all back in the U.S.!
