Today was the last day of the CAP project. It amazes me how much we got done these last three days even though we were doubtful that we would accomplish our set goals. However, with teamwork we were able to band together and finish on time and add even more. I am very proud of our work and am excited for the students to be able to play in their new and improved playground and walk on their court and feel like they walked into the ocean with the under the sea theme. In edition the children will be able to learn the alphabet and names of colors from their new dragon mural.

Being the LDD today was very fun but also very stressful. I woke up at 6 am today thinking that we were going to have breakfast at 7 am. So I decided to wake everyone up at 6:30 am only to find out that we had breakfast at 7:30 am. So in the end I ended up waking everyone up 1 hour early. Other than that, everything else went smoothly.

Speaking of breakfast, today’s meals were AMAZING! We had burgers for lunch and all-you-can-eat pizza for dinner. This might not sound like a big deal but let me tell you… we ate healthy food EVERYDAY so when they told us we were pizza and burgers on the same day we were ecstatic! All in all our last full day in Ecuador was good.
