Hey everyone, It’s the Leaders of the Day Kevin, Frank, and Tyrese. Our early day started with us waking up at 5:00 and the group waking up at 6:00. Today the group had their last English tutoring class right after breakfast. Many of us chose to have a fun final class today by having food, candy, and even a dance party. We then rode back to the hotel where we changed into our CAP clothes to go back to the the third and final day of working on our project. The final outcome of our CAP project was really incredible. We really feel like we were able to create a positive impact before we left Riobamba. We have many shout outs: Shout out to the bathroom group (Michael, Ruby, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Eliza, Jessica, and Andrew)! They were able to clean the bathrooms and make them look very nice. Shout out to the mural group (Matilda, Alvin, Sabrina, Lisa, Frank, etc.) because they were able to successfully finish their awesome mural for the school! The basketball group (Perla, Jose, Josh, with the help of Breana, Olga, Kaitlyn, Heather, Tyrese, Kevin, and of course Javier who is one of the many roaming dogs on our construction site) finished the basketball court and they painted a beautiful picture of both the American flag and the Ecuadorian flag in the center. Shout out to the outside wall group (Emily, Abby, Gemma, Waleska, and Palden) for completing the outside of the school by painting an incredible picture of two hands holding planet Earth. Shout out to the inside wall group (Imani, Jaydel, Shanelle, Emelyn, Michelle, Emily, Nacho, and Kevin) for making the school more colorful by painting the walls of the school various colors. After the CAP project was completed, we came back to La Primavera and concluded our day with a dance party, dancing to our favorite songs, and enjoying our last night in Ecuador! We can’t believe that this trip went by so fast. Although we will miss all of the bonds and friendships that were made on this trip, it does feel good to finally go back home. Because we managed to finish our project under budget we were able to make a sizable contribution to Manitos Trabajadores with the remainder of our money. See you all Saturday! P.S. Frank: Hey Mom! I miss you so much. I want to say thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me. I couldn’t ask for a better mom. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for you and I really do appreciate the life you’ve gave me. I’m so grateful to have you in my life and I can’t wait to see you again! Kevin: Hey fam, I miss all of you and love all of you guys…Thank you for all of y’all support and time and love that y’all put behind me and thanks for keeping up with the blog and being active. I’ll see you guys soon, I love you
